Field Research

Field Research refers to study and research that is conducted outside of a laboratory or other controlled situation. Although the setting and goals differ between different scientific fields, this is a means of observing the real working of the world without outside influences. An example of this is how wildlife researchers travel into the wilderness to observe how animals interact with each other and their environment in their natural habitat.
