Daze

To be in a daze is to be in a trance-like confused state. It is generally characterized by a lack of clarity in thinking. For instance, patients who present dissociative symptoms feel like time is getting slower, or might view themselves from an outsider’s perspective, or being in a daze. This state of mind can be the result of a head injury or substance use.
