Wechsler Preschool And Primary Scale Of Intelligence (WPPSI)

WPPSI is an acronym for the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence. This is a series of tests designed to measure the intelligence (IQ) of children aged 2-7. It was developed by David Wechsler in 1967 as a means of measuring cognitive abilities through verbal and performance tests and is currently in its third Revision (WPPSI-III). It is used to generate a composite score of a young child's intellectual functioning.
