Weapon Focus

Weapon focus is a term used in criminology that describes the effects on the ability of witnesses to describe the circumstances surrounding a crime due to their focusing on the presence of a weapon. The tendency to focus on the presence of weapon cuts down substantially on a victim's ability to take in other details of the situation surrounding them.
