Visual Acuity

Visual Acuity refers to the sharpness, clearness and focus of a person's vision. It is a measure of the eye's spatial resolution, or ability to perceive shapes and figures in a 3-dimensional setting. This is what is being checked when you take an eye test at a doctor's office or when applying for driver's license.
