Types Of Monocular Cues

Monocular cues are pieces of information that are taken in when viewing a scene with one eye. These cues include information on motion, perspective, size, texture, light and shading and elevation of items in the visual field. This information is useful for identifying items within the visual field but does not provide the full depth perception of binocular viewing (which is visual information perceived by using both eyes).
