Triamcinolone

Triamcinolone is a medication which helps adjust the immune system when it overreacts. It is sold in creams, ointments, dental paste, nasal spray, and injectable forms. This synthetic glucocorticoid is prescribed to treat eczema, psoriasis, mouth ulcers, and other immune-related conditions. Side effects include weight gain, shortness of breath, headache, dizziness, mood changes, sleep problems, and anxiety. Triamcinolone was first approved in 1958 by the Food and Drug Administration.
