Trailing

Trailing refers to an abnormal persistence of moving images that happen sometimes in a person's field of vision. An example of this would be a client describing a moving image that seems to be followed by a series of ghost images that fade rapidly (in less than a second).

As an example, we have all had the experience of looking at a bright light and then looking away. As you look away you will briefly see a succession of ghost image. These are "trailing" images.
