Seminiferous Tubules

The seminiferous tubules are tightly coiled tubes where sperm is being produced. These make up around 90% of the testis. They may be convoluted or straight; most of the tubules are convoluted to fit in the lobules of the testis while the tubes which form the ducts to exit the testis are straight.
