Rotary Nystagmus

Rotary nystagmus, also referred to as torsional nystagmus, is the rotary motion of the eyeball around its axis. This may be caused by damage in the inner ear, medulla, or cerebellum. This rhythmic and abnormal eye movement is also associated with vertigo and phencyclidine (PCP) intoxication.
