Rapid-Cycling Bipolar Disorder

Rapid-Cycling Bipolar Disorder is a form of bipolar disorder (manic depression), with the same cycle of depressive and manic episodes or hypomanic episodes, but with these cycles being relatively brief and rapidly shifting (averaging 4 manic/depressive cycles per year). Like the other types of bipolar disorder, this condition can be successfully treated with medications.
