Punisher

A Punisher is any aversive stimulus that is used as a consequence to an action for the purpose of decreasing or extinguishing repeated occurrences of that action. In other words, it's what makes up a punishment. For instance, when a child disobeys a rule at home, the parent may follow the child's action with a “punisher” (i.e. being sent to bed early, or losing TV privileges).
