Opthalmoception

Opthalmoception refers to the ability to perceive images, colors and motion through the eyes. Contained within this complex and multifaceted sense is the ability to perceive light and motion, as well as see colors and judge depth and distance. This information is taken in and processed by the multiple eye structures; lens, iris, retina, cornea, etc., and then transmitted to the brain by way of the optic nerve.
