Lafayette Ronald Hubbard

Lafayette Ronald Hubbard (1911 – 1986) is best known for his creation of the Church of Scientology. This followed his 1950 publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. The church of Scientology has been quite controversial since its founding but is now international in scope. It is well-known for its opposition to conventional psychology and psychiatry.
