John Morton Aase

John Morton Aase, an American dysmorphologist and pediatrics educator, is mostly known for his articles on dysmorphology and the development of the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Clinical Checklist. He also worked with David Weyhe Smith, the father of dysmorphology, in describing the Aase-Smith syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by skeletal deformities and anemia.
