Internal Conflict

An internal conflict is the state of indecision that is caused by having more than impulse for action.

For instance, as students we have all experienced having to make a choice between studying and going out to do something with friends. The responsible way to settle these types of conflicts is to take careful stock of the situation and consider the consequences, for instance "Is it more important to study because I have a test tomorrow?" or "Am I sufficiently on top of things and can reward myself with a fun evening?" These are kinds of decisions that people have to make everyday.
