Idioglossia

Idioglossia came from the Greek words “idio” which means “personal” and “glossa” which means “tongue”. This refers to a language which is created and spoken by an individual or only a few people. For instance, some very young children may have their “private languages,” especially twins which is popularly called twin speech or twin talk. One example in media is the twin brothers Jim and Tim from “Kim Possible,” a Disney Channel series. Jim and Tim converse in a language which they can only understand.
