Hebephrenia is a form of schizophrenia, also called disordered schizophrenia, that was originally classified as a subtype of classic schizophrenia. After the release of the DSM-5 in 2013 schizophrenia is considered a single condition with no subtypes. Hebephrenia is symptomized by a chronic scenario of disordered thinking, incoherent thoughts, hallucinations, inappropriate emotions, and bizarre behavior.
