Heart Murmurs

Heart murmurs are the whooshing sounds produced during the heartbeat cycle. A murmur is made by turbulent blood which may or may not indicate a disease. An abnormal heart murmur which may be caused by an underlying heart condition may have the following symptoms: chest pain, dizziness, fainting, bluish skin, nails, and lips, swelling, persistent cough, enlarged veins in neck, poor appetite, and heavy sweating even with minimal or no exertion.
