Gastric Neuropathy

Gastric neuropathy is a complication of diabetes which targets the digestive system. Having a persistent high blood sugar level may damage nerves and lead to symptoms such as bloating, diarrhea, constipation, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, and feeling full after small meals. Due to the gut’s sensory abnormalities, digestive stimuli are not properly perceived.
