Fantasy
In psychology, a fantasy is a an imaginary thought or image, or a set of images, that provides a pleasurable experience for an individual, or as a means of visualizing other possibilities. As children, everyone has had the experience of daydreaming where they imagine themselves in a different situation, as a hero, or in a position of power or glamour, or what they might do as a grown up. As an adult, fantasy can be used as a means of visualizing changes and other possible situations as a means of setting goals for change.
