Family Dynamic Disorder

A family dynamic disorder is characterized by maladaptive patterns of relating between family members. Such unhealthy ways of interactions are disadvantageous for the family’s roles, communication, hierarchies, and conflict management. For instance, in enmeshment , the boundaries between members become nonproductively vague. This then leads to blurry emotional connections which is detrimental to the affected members’ respective individualities.
