Epistemology
Epistemology is the study of knowledge. It is concerned with the creation and spread of knowledge in a particular area and how knowledge is acquired and justified. Concepts such as truth and belief are often utilized for discussion in this area of study. A priori and a posteriori knowledge are terms used in epistemological study.
