Endogenous Biological Rhythms

Endogenous biological rhythms are naturally occurring cycles within our bodies. Endogenous means that it is 'built in' and it naturally occurs within our body. Endogenous biological rhythms are regulated by the organism and are not dependent on external stimuli. Examples are circadian rhythms, body temperature regulation, menstrual cycle, and other endogenous pacemakers.
