Dichromat

To be a dichromat is to have only two functioning sets of cone cells, rather than the three than most people have. This condition is also known as color blindness. It is a genetic condition that is carried on the X chromosome and primarily effects males. Red-green color blindness is the most common type followed by blue-green color blindness.
