Cognitive Neuroscience

Cognitive Neuroscience is an academic field that studies the biological factors (substrates) that underlie and are the bases for cognition (thought and understanding). More simply put, it is the study of how the physical brain and nervous system combine with the body, mind, intellect and other intangible factors of life to create patterns of thought and behavior.
