Catecholamines

Catecholamines are endogenous (naturally occurring within the body) monoamine compounds that are used as neurotransmitters and hormones by the body. Dopamine, epinephrine (adrenaline), and norepinephrine (hyperink?) are all catecholamines. Catecholamines are made from the amino acid tyrosine.
