Catatonic Stupor

Catatonic stupor occurs in catatonic states and is marked by extreme immobility without a loss of consciousness. Sufferers are motionless and can exhibit the inability to talk. They have a marked reduction or lack of response to stimuli and seem unaware of their environment. This can be a symptom of catatonic schizophrenia.
