Calvin S. Hall (1909-1985) was an American psychologist who studied dream interpretation and analysis. During the 1940s he began systematically researching dreams and published a great many books including A Primer of Freudian Psychology and A Primer of Jungian psychology as a means of introducing these theories of psychology students. He also developed what is known as the Quantitative Coding System.
