Blackout
A blackout is when vision and consciousness are temporarily lost due to a decrease in oxygen supply to the brain. It is essentially fainting. A blackout can also refer to a period of lost time and amnesia. Caused by alcohol, drugs, or anxiety disorders a blackout sufferer can't remember what occurred even though they were awake and conscious.
People think they can destress and regulate their emotions by using only their minds.
