Binocular Vision

Binocular vision is using both eyes in perceiving images. This is in contrast with monocular vision which only uses one eye. Binocular vision is essential in accurately perceiving depth and speed. For instance, catching a ball is more accurate with the information from both eyes being simultaneously processed in the brain.
