Bereavement

Bereavement is the period of grieving following the death of someone close such as a family member or friends. It is a completely normal phase of life and can manifest itself in many different ways. Bereavement often consists of sadness, emotional numbness, crying, sleep problems, depression, regret, and other negative feelings. It can come and go in stages after a loss. However, there is no one proper way to grieve and everyone experiences bereavement in a different way. Many individuals experience the Kubler-Ross Model when experiencing grief and bereavement.
