Affective Science

Affective science is an umbrella term for the study of the nature of feelings, moods, emotionally driven behaviors, decision making, attention, and self-regulation. This field also includes research into the underlying physiology and neuroscience of emotions. Emotion and affect (emotional state) are the main areas of focus in affective science.
