Acute Otitis Media

Acute otitis media is a very bad infection that occurs in the middle-ear or the part of the ear after/behind the eardrum. It is typically very painful as it becomes inflamed and irritated. This can cause disturbances in balance and equilibrium and requires treatment with antibiotics. Often times, when young children get this infection, they will become very fussy and cry.
