Acrotomophilia

Acrotomophilia is the name of a paraphilia that involves having an intense sexual interest in amputees. Paraphilias are sexual disorders in which individuals only become aroused by inappropriate objects or fantasies.

Acrotomophilia is a poorly understood paraphilia that is still being researched but is believed to be an interest based on dominance. Another theory is feeling that the remains of the amputated limb is somehow seen as a phallic object.
