Accessory Cell

An accessory cell is an immune response cell that works along with T cells and B cells in the body. A type of antigen presenting cell (APC), these cells (along with T cells and B cells) are responsible for the generation of an immune response by the body. Accessory cell is a broad term that encompasses different types of immunity cells including dendritic cells and macrophages.
