Academic Aptitude

Academic aptitude is a measure of a person's ability to achieve and flourish in an academic environment. This is essentially a combination of talent for academic pursuits and desire to achieve academically. For many people, learning to read and write and/or succeed at math, come easily. For others, not so much. Then there are people who have a desire to succeed and are willing to put in the effort needed to achieve those academic goals even if they don't come naturally to them. This is not a simple formula as it seems, many bright and able people are not able to combine these things to become successful as scholars. Many intelligent people don't do well in academic settings and specialized learning using different modalities may be the best option for reaching out to these students.
