This list is presented by the UT Austin (they reserve all credit for this list) and contains regionally-accredited U.S. universities.

This page of UT Austin Web Central contains an alphabetic list of regionally-accredited U.S. universities. Only one server is listed for each campus: the primary central server. In the absence of a central server, another server may be selected. Here's a form to add a university. Also see What's New.

If a university is not listed in alphabetic order by name (e.g. Columbus State University under "C"), it may be listed under the system to which it belongs (e.g. University System of Georgia, under "U"). You can also use your browser's FIND function to search the list using a keyword.

This list includes only 4-year institutions; 2-year branch campuses of 4-year institutions are listed on the Web U.S. Community Colleges page.

U.S. Regional Accrediting Organization Membership Lists -
accreditation by one of these bodies is the basis for inclusion in the Web U.S. Higher Education lists and for recognition of degrees and acceptance of transfer credit by UT-Austin.
