Physical Attractiveness Stereotype

The Physical Attractiveness Stereotype is the tendency to perceive physically attractive people as intelligent, talented, confident, well-liked, and honest. As a result, good-looking individuals have more persuasive power than individuals of average or below average looks. Research has shown that attractive people have an advantage in job searches, elections, and even criminal trials. This raises the question of whether attractive people are more successful in life because of their personal traits or because of the way others perceive them.
