Malaise

Malaise is the general feeling of illness, lack of well-being, or uneasiness. Malaise came from the Old French words “mal” which means “bad” and “aise” for “ease”. This is a non-specific symptom which can occur with almost all kinds of health concerns. This is often characterized by lack of energy, pain, and discomfort. Such manifestations are thought to be triggered by the immune response due to an infection or disease. Generally, this is when you feel that something is not right and that you need to see the doctor or take medication.
