Asociality

Asociality is the trait of having little or no desire to socialize with others and/or a desire to engage in solitary activities. This characteristic is also referred to as being nonsocial, unsocial, or having social disinterest. Most people who choose this type of behavior are basically introverts although some have identifiable clinical conditions. Being asocial isn't the same as being antisocial. Asocial people are people who prefers to be alone. This type of personality actually does well in monastic vocations.
